Why the name Gardener’s Glove? Here at Bloom Organic Boutique, we love gardening. Even with wearing gloves, hands get dry & become calloused from the tools.

I have personally dealt with extremely dry skin, so I decided to create a product for my own “hands”. The ingredients and feel of the balm is so lovely that I began using this product on my face, body….. even applying it to the ends of my hair. Hence, why it’s a head to toe cream.

This cream is hydrating and gentle enough to be used on your face and all over your body. It can even be used In small amounts to nourish dry and brittle hair, similar to a hair shine.

Gardeners Glove can be used underneath your make-up. It leaves the skin looking luminous & dewy. Last but not least, it smells absolutely beautiful.

Skin Loving Ingredients:

Mango Butter is one of our very favorite butters to work with. I’ll bet you didn’t know that mangoes were traditionally used medicinally to speed up wound healing! Mango Butter protects the skin from inflammation and itching. It is an excellent source of vitamin C as well as triglycerides. When mango butter comes in contact with oxygen it produces salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is a gentle Exfoliant that helps to soften a protein in the skin known as Keratin making this product a wonderful option for dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. Mango Butter is non-comedogenic, therefore is suitable for acne prone skin. Mango Butter can also be used on both the hair and scalp. It is rich and vitamin A & E. It helps to Reduce the rate of breakage and smooth out split ends. Very little is needed if applying this to the hair.

Shea Butter is derived from a tree nut, but unlike most tree nuts it tends to be very low in the proteins that triggers allergic reactions. Shea butter helps to restore the barrier between your skin and the outside environment allowing your skin to retain moisture as well as reduce the risk of dryness. Shea butter does not leave your skin looking oily. It has high levels of Linoleic acid and oleic acid. Shea butter is also anti-inflammatory and is a wonderful antioxidant high in vitamin A & E. Shea butter is known to protect skin cells from free radicals that leave the skin looking dull and leads to premature aging. Shea butter is also antibacterial and anti-fungal. It is an excellent for acne prone skin helping the skin to produce less oil by balancing your skins on natural oils. Just like mango butter, Shea butter is excellent for use from head to toe and can also be applied to their hair and scalp. Shea butter is non-comedogenic.

Kokum Butter may be a butter you’ve never heard of but the benefits are phenomenal. Of all of the wonderful botanical butters that can be purchased , Kokum Butter is one of the most balanced and nutrient dense of them all. It is very high and essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6. These poly unsaturated fats contribute to a balanced and healthier skin barrier. The skin barrier is one of the main components and keeping the skin hydrated, plump and healthy. This product is wonderful for sensitive skin, acne prone skin, mature skin, dehydrated skin & combination skin.
Kokum butter is non-comedogenic. It is a light butter and is a versatile Ingredient due to its exceptional skin benefits. Kokum butter can be used on the scalp to help promote healthy hair growth. It is also healthy for split ends and smoothing and shining the hair shaft.

Argan Oil moisturizes the skin, helps treat acne prone skin, improves wound healing, is anti-aging & moisturizes the skin. Argan oil is non-comedogenic and packed full of vitamin E. 

This product also contains grapefruit seed oil, apricot oil, cyclomethicone , vegetable glycerin, colloidal oatmeal, arrow root powder, essential oils of rose, lavender, chamomile & jasmine. All amazing ingredients for the skin.

Cyclomethicone is a product that we’ve done extensive research on. It is very safe for the skin and actually helps to carry the active ingredients of the products into the skin. It also acts as an occlusive which means a barrier, protecting the outer layer of the skin. It is very safe to use and does not clog pores. The molecules of cyclomethicone are too large to be absorbed into the skin. It gives products a beautiful slip and glide.  Although this is the only non-organic ingredient in this product, research has proven it to be a very safe & beneficial ingredient. We feel very confident using this product on ourselves as well as our families.
