Green Coffee Bean Ultra Dry Skin Healing Facial Oil & Ultra Hydrating Exfoliant. This exfoliant & oil blend are meant to work together to gently remove dead skin cells while the oil adds the perfect mix of humectants & easily absorbed oils that can be used all over the body.

This oil/ or exfoliant has no fragrance added to them, but they do smell exactly like coffee. Green coffee bean oil has the faint smell of coffee. It is all natural and no fragrance has been added. It is not an overwhelming smell of coffee and fades as the oil is absorbed, but If you do not enjoy the smell of coffee this may not be the oil for you.

Green Coffee Bean Oil
This oil is made from un-roasted, raw coffee beans & contains a powerhouse of antioxidants & anti-aging properties. This has a high level of Chlorogenic Acid & caffeine. these ingredients help to smooth the skin, tighten the skin and boost the production of collagen by improving your skin’s elasticity. It also has the ability to reduce redness of the skin and is known to repair damaged skin tissue, boosts blood circulation & keeps skin hydrated and nourished making the skin look brighter and more radiant. It is also super beneficial for under eye dark circles. It is high in Oleic acid and Linoleic acid….two of the ingredients that help to keep the skin hydrated.

Flaxseed Oil

I chose Flaxseed oil for this product for its ability to soothe and hydrate the skin. Flaxseed oil is molecularly too large to be completely absorbed, so it acts as a skin protector. Using it on the skin helps dry sensitive skin types by working with your skin to improve its barrier function making the skin less prone to sensitivity and irritation.

Perilla Seed Oil.
This unique oil may not be one you have heard of. Perilla seed oil is actually a member of the family. This potent oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities do you to an abundance of Leno like acid. It is an excellent oil to treat aging skin as it is high in omega-3‘s. It is rich and flavones which helped to prevent free radical damage to our skin cells. It also contains a unique compound that help plays a role in maintaining your skins own natural barrier helping to prevent water loss. This makes it valuable for dry, dehydrated skin. It is a non-greasy oil and is easily absorbed by the skin.

Hemp Seed Oil.
Hemp seed oil helps to lock in hydration. It is known as a humectant and works similar to the way hyaluronic acid does by drawing moisture to the skin. It is high in omega acids 3, 6 & 9…all of which repair the skin’s barrier and helps to form a protective seal over the skin to keep moisture on the inside. It helps to reduce inflammation that is typically found in very dry skin.

Cotton Seed Oil.
Cotton seed oil comes from…..you guessed it the cotton plant. The seeds are ground up and pressed for this luxurious oil. Cottonseed oil has skin softening and protecting properties. Due to its molecular weight it is able to effectively coat the skin and protect the cells keeping them from becoming irritated. This oil is exceptional for combating dryness, sun overexposure as well as windburn. It is also packed full of vitamin E which is a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin E helps your skin cells repair.

Argan Oil.
Probably the most well known oil for a dry & dull skin, this beautiful oil is extracted from the kernels of the fruit pit of the Argan Tree.
It is rich in vitamin E and polyphenols. It helps fight free radical skin damage. It contains oleic & linoleic acids which are anti-inflammatory making it a great option to soothe dry irritated skin. One of the reasons I chose this product is that it helps prevent trans epidermal water loss. Trans epidermal water loss is basically moisture from your skin which evaporates into the air due to a disruption in your skins moisture barrier. This disruption can happen from using harsh chemicals on the skin.
Products that contain alcohol or even natural products that are too aggressive to be used on the skin such as baking soda all disrupt your skins natural moisture function. (NMF) This oil provides a healing & soothing benefit to the outer layer of skin helping it to seal the skin’s outer layer.

Jojoba Oil.
A deeply hydrating oil. It is lighter than many other facial oils and is easily absorbed into the skin as it is very similar to the oil (sebum) that our own skin naturally produces. Thus, Jojoba oil can actually help balance our own oil production. It is full of vitamin A and vitamin D.

Almond oil is rich in vitamin A which is a retinol. Vitamin A stimulates the production of new skin cells and helps to smooth fine lines. Almond oil also contains vitamin A which is a powerful antioxidant, & omega-3 fatty acids which helps prevent premature aging.

Healing Extracts of green tea, chamomile, ginkgo biloba & vanilla.

Cyclomethicone (A natural ingredient derived from silicon & oxygen)
Helps to improve the absorption of all of these lovely facial oil ingredients into the skin. Because the molecules of cyclomethicone are larger than what the skin can absorb, they do not penetrate the skins surface. What they do is remain on the outer layer of the skin creating a smooth soft texture and sealing in the oils . Cyclomethicone is a humectant and softens the external layer of the skin.
